The breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries was served in the dining room. This hotel was extraordinary and I would come here again.
Some people working there were blunt.

A Good Retreat in Bath!
We enjoyed our stay and appreciated Richard's hospitality. The charming decor and the walk along the canal were highlights! Breakfast was a feast-we felt pampered. Be ready for the stairs, though. They add to the character! Make sure to stroll into town for dinner options.

Super friendly vibes and great breakfast!
Richard is an awesome host! So knowledgeable. The room was lovely, and that big bed? So comfy, I slept like a baby. Breakfast was a fun social time, met some cool folks while enjoying pastries in a fancy dining room. Only wish there were a few more outdoor options for meals.

The host's hospitality shines brightly, with a wealth of local history and engaging conversations that enriched our experience. The room featured a cozy king bed, and we appreciated the freshly baked bread rolls served at breakfast. While the bathroom was located downstairs, it was spacious and impeccably clean, a comfortable touch. The surrounding area felt secure, and its proximity to the main attractions was a plus, though a longer walk could be enjoyed to reach the city center.

Dining is a delight at Grosvenor Villa, with ample outdoor tables perfect for a picnic after a day of exploration. Grab some local goodies from Goodies Delicatessen or enjoy a leisurely meal at The Bathwick Boatman, just a stone's throw away. Richard's warm hospitality and the grandeur of the place really add a special touch to the stay.
Just a cheeky heads up-the bathroom is separate from the room with me tiptoeing in the night! A bit of a hassle when you're drowsy. Plus, the bed was a touch soft for my liking and the frame creaked like an old ship.

Finding parking is almost a nightmare with roadworks everywhere!!! And a separate bathroom from my room reminded me of a hazard in the middle of the night. A little upgrade with convenient amenities would go a long way!!!
